Crane Destruction!!!
Hey! This is a crane i made at school with my friend Lukas... the crane was made purely out of balsa wood and wood glue! The crane originally held 9.5kg in the test in my Engineering class at school and me and my partener, Lukas decided to do our own little test with our bikes!
Our crane held the most weight in our class and was ultimately, the strongest.... but we could have reached 10kg if the base hadnt broken off! As you can see, the crane has no base because it snapped off at the 9.5kg mark. :( imagine the crane was naturally attached to the table itself...It could have held maybe 20kg or even 25kg! Thats amazing considering that it was only made from plain balsa wood! So we were so pissed off we wanted to smash it!
