47 Ronin | Keanu Reeves Duels the Tengu Master for Mystical Swords
Kai (Keanu Reeves) leads Yoshio Oishi (Hiroyuki Sanada) and the ronin to the Tengu Forest to retrieve the Tengu swords: mystical blades that will help them avenge Lord Asano (Min Tanaka). Aware of the twisted illusions his former master and the magical forest itself play on those who enter, Kai warns Oishi to resist the urge to draw his sword. While Kai attempts to defeat the Tengu Lord (Togo Igawa), Oishi must prove his willpower, even when he sees a vision of his men slaughtered.
Film Synopsis: Keanu Reeves stars in the action-adventure epic, 47 Ronin. After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and reclaim their honor. This band of ronin must seek help from Kai (Reeves)—an enslaved half-breed they once rejected—in their ultimate fight for redemption in a savage world of mythic and wondrous terrors. Kai becomes their most deadly weapon and the heroic inspiration for these outnumbered warriors to confront their enemy and seize eternity.
