Space station "Salyut-7" in orbit unmanned, suddenly stops responding to signals from the flight control center. Decided on sending into orbit of a rescue mission. Space crew must find a "dead" station for the first time in the world to dock with a 20-tonne lump of iron unmanaged.
The astronauts realize that the chances to return to Earth a bit. But this risky path is the only possible. They must not only penetrate the "Salyut-7", but to spice it up. Whether two people to prevent an imminent catastrophe and save the planet from drop station? The rescue mission turns into a dangerous ordeal. On-orbit deployed a real space detective. The film is based on real events: fly to station "Salyut-7" in 1985 is the most difficult flight in the history of space exploration.
