Rachael Ray wasn't available! So Jen makes an emu quiche! Farm Girl cooks Green Egg & Ham & Cheese quiche!
Exoman had first suggested that Rachael Ray should come to the farm and prepare a quiche during the laying season for the emus but she was unavailable at the time (wink). Imagine if Farm Girl was a celebrity chef! Ham, cheese, onion, salt and pepper make a perfect and simple dish! The pie crust used was a store bought roll up. Maybe Farm Girl should recreate Rachel Ray's lingerie shoot!
It was cooked in a preheated oven at 350 degrees until firm.

The egg used is an Emu egg
Rachael Ray has not (as far as we know) used emu egg in a dish yet.
Farm Girl has Emus and chickens on the Banshee moon Farm
These emu eggs taste like chicken eggs when used in quiche
