Check out these crazy details you might have missed in the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer! No. 1: So, the third Sonic movie is called Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but in Japan, it’s got a totally different name: Sonic X Shadow Tokyo Mission. It’s not the first time this has happened—remember, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was called Sonic versus Knuckles there. The Japanese title actually gives a big hint about the movie’s setting, since a lot of the action happens in Tokyo. No. 2: We see Shadow riding a super cool motorcycle, and there's this awesome scene where he skids the bike sideways and puts his leg down—totally a nod to the 1988 Japanese film Akira, where the character Kaneda does the same thing on his bike. It’s a pretty epic move and looks amazing! No. 3: During a scene where Sonic is investigating with a flashlight, check out the background on the table. You’ll spot two figurines: one looks like a robot, and the other is a classic version of Dr. Eggman, with a big emphasis on red. Looks like we’ve got ourselves an Easter Eggman!
