Africa Musical Extravaganza || Official Music Video
This project was part of an animation competition, 60 Days to Animate by the Kenya Animation Festival that started on 15th June 2019 and ended on the 17th August 2019 9.00 pm. The Competition was ONLY for Animators from the East African Community which include Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan and Somalia with a clear goal of showcasing and developing East African Animators content to a global audience and distributors.
The festival had 3 categories to choose from; namely; Kids Animated Short, Animation Short (Sitcom, Comedy, adventure of action) and Animated Music Video. The general theme was African Unity.
For The music video category, the audio to be animated to was provided by the festival and we chose to do the music video category.
We WON an Award for BEST ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO CATEGORY and BEST CHARACTER DESIGN IN THE MUSIC VIDEO CATEGORY.
