A question almost @everyone asks when new specialty ships come out is "how far will they take me?" (Besides the normal player's annoyance with STFC constantly turning iconic Trek things into what feels like pointless loops. Looking at you, USS Voyager). Beyond that though, can these ships be viable as long term ships? Can you use a Defiant instead of a D4? What about a Talios instead of a Kelvin? Let's talk math!
Topics covered:
1. The Pros & Cons of the top 3 specialty ships currently in the game (Determining Top 3 by usability outside of niche. EX: Voyager = PVE, Defiant = Armadas, Talios = PVP)
2. Scaling! How do they scale vs their counterparts?
3. While these ships are never your strongest ships, does the math show they can be viable secondary/tertiary focuses?
4. If you have any game mechanic questions, feel free to drop those questions in the comments!
