We Use Mesh combine Studio and combine meshes and save them as assets. Create Prefabs, adjust Lighting, Enable Material GPU Instancing, Set Camera to deferred rendering and towards the end, we set up basic occlusion culling. pushing a busy scene from 17000 batches to just a couple hundred, drastically improving performance.
