Hey everyone!! This is our third gameplay in Patch 4.0. Many of the new features are still being changed, but we can have a pretty good look into how the economy will function. This opened up to some broken new strategies and planetary development maximizations, which we covered a few in this video.
The new Cloning Ascension is also proving to be incredibly effective at, who would've guessed, Cloning!! I can't recall a single moment where I didn't have unemployment in my planets, but that can also be attributed to the high building/district construction time cost. Later in the playthrough, we're gonna develop our economy even further and go for the Behemoth Fury Crisis Path, introduced in the Biogenesis DLC. This will allow us to have the lovely Space Dragons to destroy and consume everything, basically a how to win path.
The Quality of Life (QOL) introduced in this patch will also hopefully decrease the mid-endgame lag in the future, although it's already been said that the lag is currently worse than in previous versions. We're gonna have to wait for a few Dev Diaries to know what's going on. Glitches and bugs will still occur in this patch, but it's fine, since we know Stellaris for ages and it's pretty much a core feature of every overhaul update.
