New guitar unboxing of my Jackson Soloist SLXT that I just picked up. Got a great deal on it, and the slime green color is just awesome!!! She's going to need a little work and some active EMG's, Fishman, Seymour Duncan Blackouts, or something...because the EMG HZ stock pickups are just so lifeless, especially in this guitar!!! Playability and other characteristics of the guitar though, definitely great. Lightweight, ultra fast compound radius neck for metal shred that Jackson is known for, fretboard and the frets themselves are in great shape, no sharp jagged edges, cosmetic issues...a few but not too bad. All in all, I made a good choice on buying this guitar. Once it's all tuned up, intonated, adjusted, and has some upgraded pickups it'll be more than ready for the thrash metal!!!
