In Winter 1989, Status Quo toured the UK to promote the Perfect Remedy album. The tour started at the Newport Centre and ended at the Wembley Arena, with the band playing a set that would last 2 hours long, featuring 3 new songs: "Little Dreamer," "Perfect Remedy," and "The Power of Rock & Roll."

Both nights were filmed and recorded audibly. A camera crew was present on the 17th December gig to get crowd shots only, as well as filming the crew setting up the stage and the band soundchecking. The following night, Quo had a full crew in to film the whole gig. Status Quo played a total of 2 hours in length, showcasing their greatest hits and 3 new songs
