ESP RainMaker PIR Motion Sensor | IOT Based Theft Detection System
How to make an IOT based theft detection system using ESP RainMaker, PIR Motion Sensor and ESP32. The project sends the theft alert notifications on your mobile phone and it will also turn ON the security Alarm. To get the security alert, you will have to install the RainMaker App on your phone. I have added a feature to turn ON or OFF the security system. the project will detect the motion and send the alert message on your phone only if you have turned ON the security system. So turn on the security system when you go outside and the project will start monitoring your home. If it find any motion then it will send you a theft alert on your phone. Similarly, if you are inside the house, then security will not be needed, so turn off the security system to avoid false alert messages.
I have also added a buzzer in the project. And when the montion will detected then buzzer will beep for 5 seconds to indicate about the theft alert. You can also increase or decrease the buzzer beep duration from the code sketch. you can find the code and wiring diagram for this iot based esp32 rainmaker project below.
