Is it worth it for young people to start a career in trucking? Is it worth it for women to start a career in trucking? What are the pros and cons of joining the trucking industry in 2021? How much does it pay?

The trucking industry needs drivers, many are leaving on one end while there aren't enough people joining the industry, and carriers are struggling to find good quality drivers to recruit. Many young people don't think of trucking as a viable career, but Rahisha at only 25 years of age, has made a great career out of being a truck driver, and is on her way to becoming an owner-operator.

Rahisha explains the pros and cons of getting into trucking in 2021, the things that she likes and dislikes about being a trucker, and what her experiences have been like as a young and female truck driver.

For those just coming out of school, it might be a good time to think of trucking as a potential career; you'll make good money, see new sights everyday, get to build independence and save money. Much better than many contentious careers out there.
