Some tips that’ll keep you rucking merrily are:

Maintain good posture. If your shoulders and hip flexors need a break, and feel yourself leaning forward in response, your lower back is gonna be hurting in the morning. This is a sign that you have too much weight in your backpack. Like everything else you do that’s fitness-related, once your form starts to falter, ease off the weight. Good form is always king.
