Amtrak is building bridges on the NEC, Dallas and Arlington are burning bridges with Dallas/Fort Worth HSR, and California High Speed Rail is designing tunnels. All this and more in this month's episode of high speed rail news for the United States.

For the moment I am covering what I can find concerning California High Speed Rail, Brightline West, Texas Central High Speed Rail, Cascadia Ultra High Speed Rail, Acela / Northeast Corridor, Dallas / Fort Worth HST, and Northeast Maglev as these are all projects that plan to meet or exceed a top speed of 150MPH. There ARE others in early planning stages and passed among railfans in hushed whispers like Chicago Hub Network, Memphis to Atlanta, Atlanta to Charlotte, HSR inside Michigan, and now Brightline 2.0. Also, in this episode we'll take a peek at the Richmond to Raleigh 110mph project on the Southeast HSR Corridor. I know there are other lines in the U.S. that hit 110-125MPH, such Brightline in Florida and Keystone service in Pennsylvania. I will cover those occasionally as warranted. It kind of depends how much news the 150mph+ projects provide each month as I'd like to keep these videos under 15 minutes.
