With over 50 bases strategically located across South Africa's coast, as well as near dams, lakes, and rivers, the NSRI is dedicated to ensuring the safety of communities wherever they are near water.
With a team of over 1500 committed volunteers, we are always ready to respond to water-related emergencies, from swift water rescues to maritime incidents. It's crucial to note that NSRI relies entirely on donations to fund our lifesaving operations, allowing us to maintain essential equipment, provide ongoing training, and continue their mission of safeguarding lives along the coastline.
