In this video, I connect an Arduino Due + ESP-WROOM-02U to my home wifi network and then I use the Blynk app to control an LED, and I can monitor the position of a potentiometer. This video is similar to my two previous videos where I connected an Uno and Mega to ESP modules. In this video, I also show how to flash an ESP module with the Arduino, and I show how to set up and run a Blynk local server.
This is a long video, so I have included a Table of Contents below:
0:00 Introduction - Circuit description and comparison to previous videos
2:55 Cool stuff about the Arduino Due
5:27 Why am I using the ESP-WROOM-02U?
6:37 Detailed hardware description
8:49 Soldering the ESP module to the breakout board
10:56 Get the right version of AT Commands!
12:20 Get the right flasher.
