If unpairing and pairing your Bluetooth Earphones, headphones or speakers does not fix your issue, try this alternative fix instead.
This fix is for Android phones, and requires that you turn on "Developer Options" first. This video goes through the steps for unlocking Developer options, and switching the system's Bluetooth Playback settings. Your phone screens may vary a bit depending on your version of Android installed on your phone.
Some users have reported that disabling the "Absolute Volume" feature has helped, as well as turning off hotspot.
