मेजर ध्यानचंद... जिन्हे हॉकी का जादूगर भी कहा जाता है... उनकी जयंती पर योगी सरकार ने उनसे जुड़ी स्मृतियों को भी संजोने का काम किया है... सीएम योगी ने अपने सात साल के कार्यकाल में इस दिशा में कई कार्यों को अंजाम दिया है... झांसी में दद्दा की स्मृतियों से जुड़े 'हीरोज ग्राउंड' को झांसी विकास प्राधिकरण ने अपग्रेड करते हुए सुविधाओं का विस्तार किया है... इसको नया लुक देने का काम किया.. वहीं, झांसी स्मार्ट सिटी ने रानी लक्ष्मीबाई पार्क में ध्यानचंद म्यूजियम का निर्माण कर यहां दद्दा के जीवन की यादगार कहानियों को अनूठे अंदाज में प्रदर्शित किया है... बीते साल सीएम योगी ने खुद इसका लोकार्पण किया था.. इसके अलावा, योगी सरकार मेरठ में दद्दा के नाम पर प्रदेश के पहले खेल विश्वविद्यालय का भी निर्माण करा रही है... जो महान खेल विभूति 'दद्दा' को सम्मान देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है..
