In today's video, I will be showing you how to #recover lost or erased data from a flash drive on a Mac running macOS using a tool called iMyFone AnyRecover. The tool allows one to recover lost partitions on various types of storage media, files by file type and it even allows recovering data from a formatted hard disk in particular cases. In this video, I am going to review this software sent to me by iMyFone and I will walk you through using it to recover deleted photos from a USB flash drive.

Please do keep in mind that data recovery is always a delicate procedure. #Data loss can be caused by either software or hardware errors or even human error, and depending on the factors that caused the data to be lost, it may be easier or harder to recover. This video is by no means all-encompassing. While for manual/accidental deletions of files I recommend running a program like AnyRecover, these kind of tools will not work if you have an actual hardware issue which can range from bad HDD / SSD controllers to bad storage devices, bad sectors, shocks (especially on mechanical HDDs), moisture and other factors which cause physical damage to the drive and this type of damage cannot be recovered in software.

It's also important to know that once you removed some data, for the best recovery success rate it's advised that you stop using the device immediately. Do not copy new data over to it as that will overwrite your deleted data forever making it either completely gone, or corrupted. If in doubt, or if the data is very valuable to you, it's always best to let a professional data recovery technician handle it.
