Mastering a Progressive House Song With Waves Plugins - Tutorial

In this session we master a progressive house track using the WAVES plugins. We are using mainly emulation of analog audio processor to replicate the warmth of the vintage gear. The mastering is routed through several plugins with gain staging, these processes are key to increase the perceived loudness without overly changing the original material. We use Multiple Limiters, Equalizers and multiband processors to refine the character of the original song. Unlike a online mastering software, the mastering engineer is able to listen to the elements and enhance the groove and feeling and create a non static master that will resonate with the audiences.
