Umbraco Basics: Using Master templates
To ensure a consistent look and feel in the design of the different pages on your website, Umbraco CMS offers a feature that avoids you from having to duplicate static elements again and again.
The feature is called Master Templates and gives you the ability to create static elements, like navigation and footer, in one place and then inherit those elements on other templates.
