I do a detailed side by side comparison of an OEM engine mount vs an aftermarket engine mount for the front motor mount (engine mount) on the 7th generation Honda Accord 2003 - 2007 4cyl or the K24A engine. This same mount is used in certain years of Honda cars with the K24A engine such as the Element and Odyssey. I cover what makes OEM mounts stand apart and why it is possible to suffer engine vibration from motor mounts especially when some aftermarket motor mounts are used. Aftermarket mounts do not give the same level of cushioning or dampening of engine vibrations.
