Using a telephoto lens in landscape
This video was shot in New Zealand on Mount Isobel in the south Island. This film is all about using a telephoto lens to photograph mountain photography. It was seriously warm that winters day! Mt Isobel is a beautiful walk filled witha rnge of flora anf fauna. I was photographing uisng my Nikon z7 and my 24 to 200 lens. I was mainly using 50 to 200 rnage to photograph Using a telephoto in tese conditions is perfect as too much blue sky can make the landscape image too flat. I focussesd on far away details and close up textures to use as a foreground for these majestic mountains. If you are interested in going its about a 6 hour walk just up from the famous Hanmer springs.
