You can easily connect your MacBook computer to your TV using a USB-C to HDMI adapter. But, if you do not have the adapter, then you can also use the AirPlay feature to mirror your MacBook screen or extend the screen and use the TV as a second monitor. However, older model Android TVs may not have the AirPlay option. In that case, you have to use a third-party screen mirroring app like AirDroid Cast TV.
