In this session we will look at what's new in Avalonia, a cross-platform UI framework for .NET developers. Used by familiar names like JetBrains, GitHub and Unity, Avalonia is fast becoming the leading framework for those serious about app development. With the next major release on the horizon, We'll introduce you to Avalonia, explain how it works, explore its unique architecture, and demonstrate how it allows adding new platforms like Web Assembly with ease. The session will include plenty of code and time in the IDE.

About our speaker:

Jumar Macato is a UI/UX Developer at zkSNACKs and is a core maintainer of the Avalonia Project. He started his .NET Journey in 2010 with WPF, writing apps as both a hobby and for professional use. In 2017, he discovered Avalonia and fell in love with it instantly. When he's not working on Avalonia, he can be found designing electronics and 3D printing as he has a passion for building things.
