The congress was held on July 1th~2nd, 1995, in Moscow. UCP-CPSU is the abbreviation of the Union of Communist Parties - Communist Party of the Soviet Union, which was established in 1993 by the leaders of the communist parties of the former Soviet republics. Because this organization claimed they are the successor of the CPSU, the first congress is named 29th congress. Thus this congress is 2nd one of UCP-CPSU.
