Workshop Abstract -
In the early days of the AutoML movement, the focus was on those looking to leverage the power of ML models without a background in data science - citizen data scientists. Today, however, AutoML tools have a lot to offer experts too. In this practical and hands-on talk, we dive into popular open-source AutoML tools such as auto-sklearn, TPOT, MLBox, and AutoKeras. We walk through how to install and use these tools and highlight the unique features of each. We also discuss the AutoML options available from major cloud providers such as Azure Automated ML, Google AutoML, and AWS Autopilot. Jupyter notebooks will be available for attendees to download and kickstart their incorporation of open-source AutoML technologies in their work.
