We tried Vancouver’s new extreme milkshakes — they’re $18 each
Earlier this summer, The Yard Milkshake Bar on Vancouver’s waterfront began serving up wild milkshake creations perfect for Instagram.
The Yard is a national chain that offers over-the-top milkshakes, most of which are topped with a whole other dessert. They also serve edible cookie dough and other indulgent treats.
People seem to like it.
What’s all the hype about? We decided to find out, by heading over the river to taste some milkshakes before summer was completely a thing of the past.
We tried the Mermaid, the Cereal Killer and the Java Lava, a Vancouver exclusive. Watch the video to experience the milkshakes in all their marshmallow fluffy glory.
And if you’re looking to get your own fancy milkshake, head to The Yard at 656 Waterfront Way in Vancouver. Milkshakes are $18, but you do get to keep the commemorative mason jar.
