I tried SO HARD to get this out in time for Halloween but alas, I've failed
Oh well.
I liked this game a lot, but it loses a lot of steam as you master it and any playthrough past the first is void of tension.
I forgot to mention the presentation:
The art style is pretty great, but it does muddle items a bit and Darkwood doesn't have a "highlight everything" button like most top down games
The music can be incredibly unsettling and it's used sparingly, the only problem is that it telegraphs the horror bits a bit too much and it's comical when the OST abruptly cuts when you're far enough from the spooky location.
That should have been been in the video.
Not my fault I'm retarded.
I hope to see more from Acid Wizard.
