Bangkok is the capital of Thailand and also the tourist hub for exploring the beauty of Thailand.

The main international airport in Bangkok is Suvarnabhumi airport. The airport is one of the largest airports in south-east Asia and also a regional hub for aviation. It is located approximately 27 kilometers from the touristic center of Bangkok Sukhumvit.

Communication form Suvarnabhumi airport is very organized and friendly. You will have several options available to go to Sukhumvit area from the airport.

1. Firstly, you can Rent a car
2. Or you can grab a taxi or a public transport.
3. Last but the most convenient is to take the Airport Rail Link.

Metered taxis are the easiest way to get out of the airport. Once you clear customs and immigration, head downstairs to the first level and there you find the taxi station. Where you will have several options of Large Taxi, General Taxi and Short Distance Taxi. Taxi reservation is very easy as you will have kiosk where you put your destination and it returns you a slip with a taxi number. You just have to walk and search for the taxi number. You just have to pay and additional 50 baht on top of the meter fare and tolls if you use the express way.

You can also board the public buses which run 24 hours from the airport and cost 35 baht per trip. There are total 11 different routes from the airport and some of them directly goes to Pattaya also.

If you are traveling with family or friends or a group you can also rent a Airport Limo Minibus which will be almost 3 times the taxi fare but can accommodate group of people and baggage.

But our favorite and the most convenient, cheapest and fastest way out of the airport and into downtown Bangkok is the Airport Rail Link. Coming out form the baggage claim area you have to go to basement floor of airport to find the airport rail link. The rail link will take you to downtown Bangkok in just 35 minutes. You can ride five stops to Makkasan station to switch to Bangkok Metro line or can take the train to last stop Phaya Thai Station to connect to the Sky train to reach the Sukhumvit area. The Rail link cost 35 to 45 Baht. Trains runs every 15 minutes from 5:30 in the morning till midnight.

In Bangkok transportation is always very easy and comfortable, but I always find sky train and metro much easier. If you like our video don’t forget to like and subscribe. For now take care and have a nice trip.
