In this workshop, we explore how Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) works and how it can be leveraged in existing security mechanisms. Before diving into QKD we first look at some of the quantum terminology and principles. We will also touch on what a Quantum Network and/or Quantum Internet is and what role IXPs can play in this.
