BECO - The Heart that Beat Inside Ayrton - Documentary
"BECO - The Heart that Beat Inside Ayrton," set to be released this year. This intimate film is a tribute to the Ayrton that the family and friends knew, the human Ayrton behind the racing legend, affectionately called Beco.
The documentary will feature special and unseen footage from Ayrton's personal life, heartfelt interviews with the family, including a rare and special appearance by Dona Neyde Senna, who will participate for the first time with testimonies, sharing her perspective on this entire story.
The central story of the documentary revolves around the creation of Nosso Senna, how everything originated from a special request from Dona Neyde to me. Despite working with Ayrton's image daily for the past 30 years, being the main collaborator in building his memorial for IAS and Senna Brand, my grandmother missed seeing the Ayrton she knew, how he was with her, beyond the renowned pilot image. So, she asked me to create a sculpture of Ayrton's bust, capturing the gaze and essence of Beco.
