How to bypass the AC compressor on the Volvo 850, S70, V70 with a short serpentine belt. - VOTD
AC bypass: 10 to 15 minutes ($15 / $65), Belt PN: 4060495
This should work on P80 vehicles built from 1992 through 1998. Volvo 850, S70, V70, C70, etc.
In this video I replaced the serpentine belt with a shorter one to bypass the AC compressor. This was done due to a problem with the AC compressor pulley being worn and I was concerned that it would freeze and lock up which could result in damage to the engine.
