This time, we want to share with you such an important element of the spinning gear, as the KNOT between the BRAIDED fishing line and FLUOROCARBON leader. In our opinion, this is the best knot for JIGGING!

There are several well-known knots for fishing: Albright, Palomar, Clinch, Carrot, Eight, etc. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. At one time, your obedient servant, Sergey Ostapenko, invented his own knot, in which he combined all the advantages of well-known knots for himself, eliminated their shortcomings, and connected the braided line and fluorocarbon in a way that is most suitable for jigging and microjig fishing. It can also be used when fishing on a swimbaits if you are using a fluorocarbon leader.

In principle, the knot is quite versatile, and is applicable in many situations, not only when tying braided and monofilament, shock leader, etc.

The main advantages of the knot are that both ends, fluocarbon and braided line, “look” in one direction, namely towards the spinning rod. Thus, when casting, the wedge-shaped knot flies out of the rings without hooks. Also, when fluing, the knot has a more aerodynamic shape, to some extent increasing the casting distance in comparison with other knots.

Also, this knot is knitted quickly and simply in any conditions: on the beach, in a boat, in windy weather ... Fluorocarbon is connected to the line almost tightly. Breaks occur only on the braid, and with a sufficient thickness of the braid - hooks unbend. TESTED IN PRACTICE! How to attach fluoro to the braid?
