Schindler Traction Elevators at Macy's, New York City NY

These are some busy Schindler elevators at Macy's Herald Square in New York City. The elevators overall are a pretty basic Schindler mod and are quite boring in comparison to the historic wooden escalators that are inside this store. For once I'd rather ride the escalators all the way up rather than take the escalator. Anyways these elevators were installed by Marcato probably in the 1930s. Schindler would go on to modernize these elevators twice with the first one being done in the 2000s and the 2nd mod being done a few years ago.
