In this course, we'll be looking at how agriculture's practised right around the world. And in doing this, we'll start by looking at the crucial role that agriculture plays in feeding the world's ever-growing population. And then we'll start to drill down and look at individual farms, the different types of farms that exist around the world.
And in doing that, we're going to look at some of the economic issues, the environmental issues, and even the animal welfare issues that are impacting on those farms. We'll then move on and have a look at some of the sustainability issues that affect farming, and we'll finish off by looking at some of the new, exciting IT applications that are transforming modern farming.
