The River and The Wall - 2017 Teaser
On December 1, five friends are embarking on a 1,200 mile mountain bike, horse, and canoe journey from El Paso to the the Gulf of Mexico along the Rio Grande river and the US-Mexico border. The purpose of the journey is to photograph the borderlands prior to further construction of a border wall and to explore how it would impact water access, immigration, wildlife dispersal, border culture, private landowners, and public lands. "The River and The Wall" will be a feature documentary directed by Ben Masters which will follow the journey and shed light on the impacts of a physical 30 foot wall stretched across the border.
