Discord is a popular messaging application. It was originally intended for gamers but these days, it is even used for team and community communication. You can use it for text, voice and video messaging.
To install go to the download page at discord.com/download and ensure you download the deb file. Please keep in mind that, Discord is only available for 64-bit systems.
You will then be asked if you want to save or open using the Gdebi tool installer. Click open with this application to start your installation.
Enter your root password and then click install package.
Discord is now installed on your system, to find it you can access it through your start menu and then enter your login details to start.
