What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from your first job?
Jack, a janitor at a prestigious firm, walked in on his boss mistreating a woman. The big and important lawyer used the girl as a tool for his business needs. He’d make her bend over to act as a table, wipe pen ink on her body… all the while she silently cried. Jack tried to intervene. But his boss simply didn’t care. When the girl was alone, Jack approached her to find out why she agreed to such horrid work conditions. It turned out she really tried to find a decent job. But no company wanted her as she didn’t have enough experience. And if she did what the boss wanted her to, he’d leave her a good recommendation so she could take on a better position.
The girl didn’t see a way out of her situation. And Jack was determined to help her. But what could a mere janitor do?
