Hashi Corp's Vagrant application is a very useful tool for developers and devops alike. It hugely speeds and and simplifies the process of creating a virtualized development environment

In this video we will go over finding Vagrant in the package repositories, using the Vagrant Atlas, a brief overview of a Vagrantfile, and creating a new Vagrant box from scratch.

Installing and setting up Vagrant on Ubuntu or Fedora is easy because it's in the default repositories. Getting setup with Vagrant on openSUSE is a bit more involved because it is not located in the default repositories.
