Hello, everyone. Today I'll show you how to add a steam animation in DaVinci Resolve. To get started, highlight your footage and navigate to the Fusion page. Then, using a fast noise node, create a merge node. Select the fast noise node and then the inspector tab. You can change the settings so that it looks more like Steam. Once you've finished adjusting the settings, add a polygon node and connect it to the fast noise node. Highlight the polygon node and select the area where the steam will appear. After masking the area, there will be a significant difference between the steam and the background. Adjust the soft edge values to produce a more natural appearance. It's time to get it moving. Create simple keyframes for the center and seethe. Then, at the end of the timeline, increase the values in the center and seethe. The higher the values, the faster the steam moves. That's all for now; please like and subscribe. Happy editing.
