Inaugural Swoop Landing & Takeoff at YYJ & RCAF CC-150 Polaris
This past Thursday saw the very first arrival of WestJet's ULCC, Swoop, to Victoria International Airport. Swoop was originally planning on starting flights to Victoria in April 2020, but due to an obvious lack of travel demand, they decided to postpone their new service until over a year later. It is wonderful to see another new airline flying to Victoria after seeing many leave in the past couple of years. Shortly after, a CC-150 Polaris landed from Halifax as well.
