Took a photo in direct sunlight and now it looks washed out? Don’t press the Delete button just yet! Let’s see how to edit overexposed photos in PhotoWorks - a user-friendly image editor.
✅Method # 1
If you are a newbie in photo editing, then use the Auto Correction function. Just click the button and the software will automatically improve your picture. The Auto Correction engine is content aware, so it will detect the genre of your picture and make the adjustments accordingly.
✅Method # 2
If you want to set your own accents, then edit your picture manually. Drag the Exposure slider to the left to make the picture less bright, but watch out for the dark areas - they may get even darker. Then adjust the Blacks and Whites, Highlights and Shadows sliders so that the photo has more depth and contrast in it.
Now you know how to fix overexposed photos! Want to try some more PhotoWorks tools? Here’s what you can do with this smart photo editor:
🔸 Transform your photos with 150+ artistic filters
