Arkansas Week: LEARNS Act and "Good Roots"
Briefs were filed this week in the lawsuit brought by 11 Phillips County residents and two public school advocates who claim that because of a procedural mistake while voting on the LEARNS Act, an emergency clause was not properly approved. A hearing is scheduled for June 20th. Host Dawn Scott discusses it with Antoinette Grajeda, Senior Reporter for the Arkansas Advocate and Josie Lenora, Political and Government Reporter for Little Rock public radio station KUAR-FM 89.1.
