Testing out my Zenit 12XP on Portra 400 (photos included) | Blue Mountains Road Trip
Some moments from a little road trip we made out to the Blue Mountains in Sydney, Australia so I could shoot a roll on my new Zenit 12XP.
This is one of our favourite spots at Mount Banks to go to get away from the city. We did some exploring, enjoyed a picnic, a healthy snack, our drone was attached by 3 black cockatoos and we were lucky to watch one of the nicest sunsets we've ever seen there.
All the photos on the Zenit 12XP were shot on Portra 400. We also captured a few photographs on our Fuji GFX 50R because we’re greedy. Can you spot the difference?
It was my first time shooting with 35mm film for a few years, as well as my first time shooting with the Zenit, so I felt a bit out of my element to say the least. Really happy the shots I got out of the camera but in retrospect I underexposed a lot of my shots as the internal light meter is broken (oops).
Will look to do a proper video in future that really shows off the zenit and its helios lens.
