Sooner or later, on the Volvo 850, S70,. V70,. XC70, etc. the air conditioning compressor clutch will wear and the gap will become to large for the compressor to rein-gauge. There are 3 ways to repair/fix it.
1. Install zip ties to close the clutch gap.
2. Remove the clutch and adjust the shims.
3. Replace the compressor.
