Песня Маши на Баяне / Два Берега из к/ф Жажда
Ночь была с ливнями и трава в росе, про меня "счастливая" говорили все. И сама я верила сердцу вопреки: мы с тобой два берега у одной реки. Это первые строки из песни к фильму "Жажда"(1959). Той самой "Песни Маши", как её часто называют.
Название песни на самом деле «Два берега», стихи Григория Поженяна, музыка Андрея Эшпая, написавшего музыку к большинству фильмов Евгения Ташкова. Песня впоследствии обрела широкую популярность и вошла в репертуары Майи Кристалинской, Гелены Великановой и других исполнительниц.
История создания этого фильма неотделима от фамилии Григория Михайловича Поженяна - поэта-фронтовика и сценариста. В августе 1941 года разведывательно-диверсионная группа, в составе которой был Поженян, сумела отбить у противника водозаборную станцию в захваченной румынскими войсками Беляевке.
