Viewports in AutoCAD layouts allow you to display different views of your model or drawing in the same layout. Here are the steps to add and rotate viewports in AutoCAD layouts:

Open the AutoCAD file and go to the Layout tab.

Click on the "Layout" tab and select the "Viewport" button from the "Layout" panel.

Click on the location where you want to add the viewport in the layout.

After placing the viewport, click on it to select it. You can also use the "Viewport" menu to select the viewport.

To rotate the viewport, click on the viewport and select the "Rotate" command from the "Viewport" menu.

After selecting the "Rotate" command, click on a point to define the base point for the rotation.

Specify the angle of rotation, either by typing it in or selecting a reference point and a new point to define the angle.

Press "Enter" to complete the rotation.

You can now adjust the size and position of the viewport by clicking on the viewport and using the grips to resize or move it.

You can also double-click on the viewport to activate it and change the view or zoom level of the drawing displayed in the viewport.

Finally, use the "Plot" command to print or save the layout with the rotated viewport
