Production of engines for drones begins in Russia
As you know, most of the components for Russian drones come from China, and such simple things as electric motors too. But the situation is gradually beginning to change; the Russian NPO Android Technology will launch mass production of electric motors for domestic drones by the end of the year. It is reported that large-scale production of electric motors with a power of 100 watts to 10-12 kilowatts will be launched. These electric motors will be equipped with drones with a carrying capacity from 500 grams to 15 kilograms. Now the need of domestic drone manufacturers for electric motors has increased manifold and is estimated at hundreds of thousands. According to the management of the NPO Android Technology, the first batches of electric motors for UAVs have already been transferred to several customers; based on the results of operation, it is planned to sign contracts for the production of several thousand such power plants.
